Dear Colleagues,
It is a pleasure to inform you that everyone in the Pattaya Conference Organising Committee is working hard to make the Conference both intellectually fruitful and thoroughly enjoyable. There will be over 800 scientific presentations that have originated from all corners of the world. They include presentations from 75 distinguished guest speakers. The plenary lectures will be given by Dr Suthorn Bavonratanavech, Prof Shoichi Kokubun, Dr Martin Krismer, Dr José Morcuende and Dr George Thompson. The scientific sessions will enable us to interact and exchange ideas on every aspect of orthopaedic surgery.
The social events, of which we are very proud, present classical Thai culture at the Opening Ceremony and at the Presidents' Dinner. We hope you will allocate some of your time to get a taste of the natural environment and customs in and around Pattaya.
Lastly, I would like to thank the Organising Committee for its hard work, the commercial exhibitors, the speakers and the SICOT and RCOST Secretariats without whom this meeting would not be possible.
We hope you will participate in making this an unforgettable event in your lives.
