SICOT-J is an official journal of the Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie (SICOT). It has been developed, as a peer reviewed open access journal, to further widen the educational impact of SICOT on the orthopaedic community. It will focus on original clinical, basic and translational research in the field of orthopaedic surgery and traumatology.
Founded in 2014 by: Jochen Eulert, Jacques Caton and Hatem Saïd.
As of 2021, SICOT-J introduces a Two-Tier payment system for the publication of accepted articles. This model is implemented to allow SICOT members to benefit from a discount towards the payment of their APCs.
