The International Council is composed of all National Representatives (Delegates and Secretaries), the Board of Directors, Past Presidents of SICOT and (Past and Future) Presidents of congresses, Chairmen of SICOT’s Committees, the Editors and the Chairpersons of the Editorial Board of “International Orthopaedics” and “SICOT-J“.
The SICOT International Council is the Society’s principal representative body, bringing together National Representatives from around the world to ensure that the views and interests of SICOT’s global membership are reflected in its governance and strategic direction. As a cornerstone of SICOT’s democratic structure, the International Council plays a key role in shaping the future of the Society by participating in important decisions relating to leadership, policy, constitutional matters, and long-term development.
Through its diverse international representation, the International Council promotes SICOT’s mission of advancing orthopaedic education, research, and patient care worldwide. By providing a forum for discussion, exchange of ideas, and collective decision-making, the Council helps ensure that SICOT remains a truly global organisation that serves the needs of orthopaedic professionals across all regions of the world.
